Our lead astro-guide is highly qualified and experienced. A trained and accredited “Starmaker” astronomy presenter for the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park, where he delivered stargazing events to members of the public to celebrate and promote the award of Dark Sky Park status. Subsequently he was resident astronomer for the Forestry Commission at Hamsterley Forest, Durham, running fortnightly stargazing events. He is a lover of the outdoors and a volunteer ranger with the Northumberland National Park Authority. He’s a qualified amateur astronomer and published astrophotographer.
